MIT Sloan Course on the Business of Education in Brazil

Welcome to MIT’s course site for the The Business of Education in Brazil. This half-semester student-designed course is a general introduction to salient issues related to the business of education in Brazil and includes a 12-day study tour to São Paulo, Brasilia, Curitiba, Florianópolis, and Rio de Janeiro. Through the course sessions and visits with private equity firms, universities, Ministry of Education officials, public and private schools, education technology companies, and content providers, students will look at the business and education sectors from multiple perspectives to gain an understanding of how the sectors interact and influence each other.
